Holding Political and Media Leaders Accountable

It is time to set a new standard, expectation, and accountability for integrity in or politics and media.

Integrity: Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code

We need to hold our leaders and the media accountable.

"We the people" have fallen behind in our duly to hold the both of these groups to task.  This needs to change in order to maintain our democratic republic.  We have been on a very slippery slope and we are getting very close to falling off the edge if corrective action is not taken.

With the level of disinformation being presented recently we are having a difficult time knowing what is believable.  This needs to stop.  If credible media outlets are withholding information or reporting with a bias we have no way individually to confirm the truth.  When the truth is not being shared it brings into play falsehoods, misunderstandings, contempt, and mistrust for everyone.  A free society can not operate this way for very long.

If both sides do not step down from their positions and step back and look for a solution that is the good of the whole we will spiral down into anarchy.

Here are some key elements we need to see to turn us from the current path we are on:

  1. There needs to be discussion between the 2 parties

  2. Media needs to be reporting on the facts of a situation and avoid the commentary, our media has gotten so sloppy with their reporting

    1. No opinions declared (or hinted at)

    2. Present facts that are correct and verified

    3. Reporter/writer, date and time stamp all articles

    4. Reference all sources

  3. The media needs to be questioning issues that are raised not suppression them

    1. When a news outlet becomes untrustworthy about one issue, their reporting on everything is brought into question

  4. Both sides need to be listened too

    1. A clear understanding of the others concerns need to be understood

  5. There needs to be a level of reconciliation

  6. Transparentancy

Election Board Accountability

We need to hold our Election Boards accountable for the voting process, machines, and certification.  If we are having so many issues with the voting machines why are we not going after the election boards and commissioners?

When representing the people, elected officials have the responsibility to analyze all information regarding what they are voting to approve or not approve. They look at the pros and cons of each item they are voting on.

It seems that information regarding the in question voting machines and processes have been in affect prior to this election.

If this is true why have these machines been approved by these election officials?  They can not claim ignorance because their are experts that can provide insight into possible issues.

It seems these officials are guilty of negligence  of their duty and should be held accountable.

Seeing Sin, Blindness to Sin

As we are hidden from our sins and as our eyes are opened it is interesting to see it's interesting to see this blinds us? Sin is also something as Americans we are living in without knowing it? Our way of living has become sinful and excepted from our past history (we don't see it as deeply as it really is).  We need to take a deep look at what we are doing and ask is it to glorify of God? If it's not we need to reevaluate our values as Americans and our lifestyle.

Building on our blindness of sin. In America we also have the blindness of God. As we have led for the past several decades are moral grounding to eroided. This eroding has caused us to back down from other influences that have impacted our society, schools, and civil institutions in a positive way. We have assumed, or let happen, the influence of the other secular directives inpact our social fabric. Because of this we see division not unity within our country.

We have taken a more defensive stance against opposing view points versus embracing each others perspective. We've caved to the perspective of others because we are not strong enough to uphold Christan principles. We need to come together on the principles that this country was founded on. This is what drives us. These principles are what drive us to create a great nation built on principle not on man's sinful flaws.

Jesus Fawns-over Us, His Love Is Enough

So guys have a desire to be flattered by others.  This creates a desire to be looked up to.  This comes into play at work, out in the world, and at home.  Men depend on their wives for support in the decisions they make and in how they relate to others.  If a woman does not do this it creates a desire in the man to obtain this from somewhere else.  There is a cure for this but it requires us to refocus.

God has a desire to fawn over us.  He loves us, and when we desire this from others we are taking away this relationship with him.  We need to change our desire from someone else to Jesus. We need to put our focus on Jesus. He is the one and only true love for us.  We can not require others to do it, not our wives, not our friends, not somebody down the street or neighbor, but Jesus is the one we need to be focused on. We need to take our focus off of ourselves and put our focus on Jesus.

Food: God has Supplied

So we are at a interesting point in the world and I think one of the things when you look around and have your eyes open to God. You can see in every aspect of your life here in the US is affected by Satan. Just looking at the food that we eat. It is bad for us. The fast food, how we grow our food, and how we prepare our food are all not what God intended. So we end up with people that are overweight. We need to be eating healthy. We need to get back to the basic foods vegetables, leafy greens, and get back to eating healthy again. So food is just one aspect of how we lost our way with God's intention for us.

Let's get it back by living the way God intended. We need to eat healthy. God has supplied us with all the food that we need. We need to realize what that food is and learn to be grateful for what God has provided us.

The American Church is Dead, Time to Follow Jesus

It's interesting how people say the American church is not stepping up during this time of trouble.  I would argue that part of the problem is how the American Church has evolved.  The American Church is part of the problem. The "church" is just part of society now.  There is no difference between a religious person that goes to church and secular person that doesn't  the statistics are the same. In order to make a difference we need to be followers of Christ not followers of religion that man has created.

We need to come together with love and be the hands and feet of Jesus. We cannot depend on the church to do these things any longer.  The church of America is motivated in our society by money, power, and position.

Thank you for keeping the sheep at bay, it is time to step out as followers of Christ and boldly make an impact in our communities as we prepare for his return.
